WHO WE ARE

Junk Away is a family owned and operated business that started on Florida's Emerald Coast in 2008. 

​

It was an idea that Jim and his son, Carleton, came up with years before when trash night would come around or spring cleaning would commence. Where could they find someone to haul away unused and unneeded stuff that waste management won't take or that won't fit in your four door sedan? What do you do with the rusted out grill? The mattress that makes your back hurt? The hot tub that no one uses anymore because it is too darn hot outside? Thus, Junk Away was born.

Before "retiring" from the corporate world, Jim started doing a couple jobs here and there. As time progressed, we realized there were so many people just like us who needed help removing unwanted and unneeded items from their homes or businesses. It wasn't long before Junk Away became a full time operation.

Since our founding, we’ve worked with numerous clients throughout the area. Great service begins and ends with experienced and friendly professionals, which is why we put so much consideration into selecting only the best to join our team. We complete projects efficiently and on schedule, and go above and beyond to form lasting relationships with our clients.

We currently serve The Emerald Coast of Florida including Destin, Ft Walton Beach, Niceville, Crestview, Freeport, Blue Mountain Beach, Miramar Beach, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Grayton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Panama City Beach, and surrounding areas!
