Q. What does Junk Away Do?
A. Junk Away removes unwanted items from homes and businesses by providing 2 main services: junk removal and light demolition. Our full-service junk removal will provide a free estimate on each appointment. Once you agree with the estimate, we will get you scheduled to load up the junk and haul it away!

Q. What does “full-service” mean?
A. Full-service means our team will do everything to remove your unwanted items. There is no need for you to take the items to the garage or curb. We collect items from attics, garages, back yards, storage units, etc.

Q. Do you pick up junk for free?
A. No, we have to charge for junk removal services.

Q. What do you charge?
A. We have a trip charge/base fee of $150. The total fee is based on the volume of items we are removing and the time it takes to complete the job.

Q. Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
A. Yes, as a thank you to our service men and women, we offer a 10% discount to all active and retired military personnel.

Q. What form of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards.

Q. Do you buy unwanted items?
A. No, we are a junk removal company and do not buy unwanted items.

Q. What do you do with the junk?
A. We recycle and donate as many items as possible. The rest is properly disposed of at the landfill. Click here for more information.

Q. What kind of business is Junk Away?
A. Junk Away is a family owned business that was started right here on The Emerald Coast of Florida.

Q. Are you licensed and insured?
A. Yes.

Q. How quickly can you remove unwanted items?
A. We usually book 2-3 days out, however we can sometimes pick up same day. You can also book us for a future date if you have an upcoming move.

Q. Does the customer have to be on site when the job is being completed?
A. We do not require the customer to be onsite.

Q. Will you move items from one location to another?
A. Junk Away is primarily a junk removal service, not a moving company. However, on occasion we can move one or two items from one location to another.
